Last Saturday, I was honored to attend the wedding shower for my cousin and best friend, Colleen. The shower was filled with so much joy and love, which doesn’t surprise me because if you know Colleen, that is what she is made of. I was so excited to capture this day for her, and I hope these pictures portray how special it was.
The shower was held at Colleen and Roy’s house – where they will live as a married couple.
The decorations were perfect.
The celebration was started with a very special prayer for the new couple.
After the prayer, the guests got to enjoy everything from quiche to scones, sangria to blueberry muffins, yogurt parfait to breakfast casseroles. No one left hungry!
Everyone truly enjoyed themselves.
Even this cute little thing was having a good time. She thought my camera was so funny!
Before Colleen opened her gifts, we played a cute game that started with Colleen answering questions about Roy, and ended with all of us watching Roy on video answer the same questions. Next time you see Colleen, ask her what Roy thinks of traditions.
